Administration fee
An administration fee of £320 + VAT is payable upon creation of a legally binding tenancy agreement and is fully refundable if the landlord withdraws from the deal.

Rent
For long-let accommodation, the rent is always paid in advance, so your first instalment will be paid with your deposit prior to moving in. You will also be asked to set up a monthly standing order with your bank which your Account Manager/Negotiator can assist with.
For short-let accommodation, tenants can be asked to provide the full rental amount up front - this is dependent on the length of stay.

Deposit
For long-let accommodation, a security deposit equivalent to the value of six weeks' rent is required.
For short-let accommodation, only four weeks' security deposit is required.
This is paid in advance of the tenancy commencing and held against any damage that may occur during the tenancy.
The deposit will be returned at the end of the tenancy minus any damages noted during the inventory check-out procedure.

Methods of payment
We accept bank transfers, bankers' drafts, cash, debit and credit cards including American Express (subject to a small admin charge). We do not accept cheques (company or personal).
NB : We do not consider funds paid in over the counter at any high street bank as automatically cleared.

Foxtons is a member of The Property Ombudsman, The National Approved Letting Scheme and The Tenancy Protection Scheme providing landlords and tenants with an assurance that they will receive the highest level of customer service.
