Alison Comiskey, Lettings Valuer / Associate Director
I fell in love with Foxtons when I first visited their headquarters for an interview in 2004. From the moment I walked in, I was swept off my feet by its energy and dynamic atmosphere. The uncapped earning potential that Foxtons could offer was also too good to resist, so after being offered the position of Lettings Negotiator I passed my driving test and moved my whole life down to London to follow my dream - all within four weeks.
I began my life in Chelsea after being placed in the newly opened Sloane Square office, which was a great learning curve and I am immensely proud that I have played a pivotal role in one of the fastest growing offices in Foxtons.
Hard work really is rewarded at Foxtons and I have been fortunate enough to drive a number of amazing cars and enjoy many of the company trips abroad. The potential for progression at Foxtons is unlimited and hugely inspiring; I am responsible and accountable for my own workload, so it is up to me to work as hard as I can. In recognition of my hard work, I am delighted to have recently been promoted to the position of Associate Director.
Working as a Property Negotiator does involve long hours and lots of hard work to achieve the desired results, but the benefits most definitely outweigh the harder times. I am so lucky to work in an office and area I love and in an industry that is constantly evolving. I am excited by the future of our business and look forward to building on my current success, continuing to learn and develop as part of Foxtons as it grows and expands.
