Anoushka Stevenson, Lettings Manager
After university I decided to travel for a year, which was a fantastic experience. However, once I returned to England, I realised that it was time to think seriously about my career.
I had seen some cool Foxtons Minis driving around London and this prompted me to take a look at their website and find out more about them. The site showed a contemporary and dynamic company that looked different to other estate agents. I was interested in the many prospects a career at Foxtons seemed to offer and before I knew it I was filling in the on-line application form.
After a thorough interview and training programme, I started my new role of Lettings Negotiator and was given a brand new Mini and mobile phone. This was great; even though I had been away for a year I was ahead of many of my friends that had started careers straight from university. Within 15 months I hit my Mini convertible and BMW car targets and also became part of the Short Lets department, specialising in lettings of up to 6 months. As an extra reward for my hard work I have also travelled in style enjoying all expenses paid trips to Morocco, France, Portugal, Croatia and Malta.
After what seemed like no time at all I was one of the top five Lettings Negotiators in the company and 18 months into my career I was promoted to a Lettings Valuer in Sloane Square. Another promotion followed due to my hard work and I became Lettings Manager of Fulham. I have been with Foxtons for seven years now and am still enjoying a fantastic career with Foxtons and will never look back!
