Cate Dodkin, Sales Manager
I became aware of Foxtons when a university friend was promoted to Lettings Manager in the St Johns Wood office. Six months out of my second degree and having spent a substantial amount of time travelling, I was keen to start work and therefore was delighted when I was offered the role of Sales Negotiator.
I was thrown in the deep end at the phenomenally successful Islington office and, after 11 months as a Sales Negotiator, I was promoted to a Rare Negotiator, selling the most expensive properties on the market.
Seven months later and after much hard work, I was promoted again to a Sales Valuer and things really took off from there. The role offered me the chance to not only build on my skills but also meant that I was managing a team. After three years in this role and with several sales records under my belt I was offered my current role of Sales Manager in the newly opened Canary Wharf office. We have been open for over 18 months and have a team of almost 40 people based here alongside support from our Chiswick Park Headquarters giving us a huge presence in the area.
My hard work has been rewarded in several ways and over the years I have driven a succession of beautiful cars, including a BMW 318 and BMW 325. I now drive a beautiful Mercedes SLK 350 after hitting my supercar target and am looking forward to hitting more targets in the future. In total I have also been on 11 Foxtons incentive trips and have been taken from France to Morocco, South Africa to Croatia and from Malta to Switzerland.
I would not have missed the last six years for anything and am lucky enough to have become one of the most successful people in my peer group from both school and university. Not bad for an estate agent!
