Rachel Kinnish, Manager
In January 2006 I joined Foxtons with the promise of a fresh challenge in a new and demanding industry. I began my role as Office Co-ordinator in the prestigious Mayfair office and as I faced new tasks and added skills to my portfolio, the days flew by. Being the face of Foxtons in such a sought-after location gave me a huge amount of pride in my job and the impetus to make positive changes in the way I ran the office.
The best thing about being an Office Co-ordinator is that you deal with so many different departments, from speaking directly to the Protography team to liaising with senior management on office-related issues.
After a lot of hard work, I was promoted to Roaming Office Co-ordinator for the Central London Division, dividing my time between five busy offices, training new staff and instigating new office procedures. At the same time I undertook PA duties to the Area Director, whereby I organised his diary, booked meetings and corresponded on his behalf. I was then delighted to be promoted again to Divisional Office Co-ordinator, overseeing all offices and as well as acting as PA to not one, but five Area Directors. I then had a further promotion to Manager of Office Co-ordinators where I oversee all our offices and a huge team of staff, liaising with all Area Directors on office-related matters.
I can honestly say that I absolutely love my job; each day is different and I get to deal with many interesting and exciting people.
