Will Pitt, Sales Manager
Having completed an internship with an American bank whilst studying at Loughborough University, I became aware of the big gulf between my position and more senior posts. As a result I knew that not only did I want to be successful, but also that I wanted to be more in control of my career.
In September 2002, having met a Foxtons Sales Negotiator, I applied for the same role immediately and I was given an opportunity to start as a Sales Negotiator in the South Kensington office. It was here that I would start a challenging career in an exciting sector of the market; that is until 18 months later when I was asked to become a Rare Sales Negotiator dealing with the most exclusive properties at the new Sloane Square office. Here my team and I were charged with the responsibility of building the office from its grass roots, something that has been pivotal to the success that it is today. I continued my career here as a Sales Valuer for a further 18 months, helping build a client list to be proud of as well as passing on what I had learnt over the last few years to my team.
After all my hard work I was therefore delighted when I was promoted to my dream job and was asked to manage the South Kensington office. Since then, my team and I have continued to develop the business, breaking office and company records - a great collective achievement of which I am very proud.
It is not all hard work however! Along the way we have also enjoyed a collection of adventurous trips to various countries and I've enjoyed driving a number of fantastic cars. Foxtons really is an amazing company to work for, encouraging career progression and rewarding hard work based on individual ability.
