Living in Queen's Park

A local information guide to Queen's Park property, schools and public transport.

  1. Queen's Park is an area of North West London divided between the London Borough of Brent and the City of Westminster. The main thoroughfare of the area is Salusbury Road with Queen's Park station at one end and Brondesbury Park railway station at the other. The northern half of Queen's Park was developed around the eponymous park between 1895 and 1905 by developer Solomon Barnett, who developed much of Kilburn. The two-story terraced houses east of the park, developed between 1895 and 1900, typically have clean, classical lines. Those west of the park, developed between 1900 and 1905, tend to be more Gothic in style. Salusbury Road has an increasing number of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants.
