What locals say about E15

  1. East village has lovely independent cafes and restaurants, run by passionate individuals. From artisan bread to home made gelato and fabulous cocktails. All this on the door step of a huge park, no cars, sports facilities and lots of activities within the community.

  2. Great transport links, close proximity to good shops and nice neighbours.

  3. Stratford has a very good transport (underground, DLR and buses). You have a great selection of shops (Westfield shopping centre). You also benefit from Olympic sports center. Finally, there are recreation grounds nearby – Victoria Park.

  4. Stratford has seen an abundance of change in a short time. The corner stone of the East end it now truly unites what was once a typical east end town with the rest of the city and even Europe Thanks to it's unrivalled transport connections. However, despite the growth of mega residential towers attracting the city slicker you know you'll have a neighbour who can point you to a market trader selling fresh produce at compassionate prices. Thus, although Stratford has attracted wealth through enormous investment you know the local traders at the Stratford old centre will always look after the old and new residents and that's what makes Stratford truly warm and a place to embrace diversity at its finest.

  5. Stratford is a vibrant and diverse place to live. With the Westfield shopping centre on your door step, the old Stratford Shopping Centre just across the way from that, and Stratford Highest a couple of minutes walk from there, there is nothing that you can't find in Stratford. And what's not to love about living where the Olympics was held?! Great travel connections into and out of Central London. Stratford is fast becoming a desirable place to live in London.

  6. Inspiring, rich in culture diversity, with green spaces for all to enjoy, Stratford and surrounding areas, make a great combination of opportunities for living, working, studying and relaxing. It offers one of the biggest shopping centre in London with generous parking space. Great active leisure in the nearby Olympic Leisure Centre at the Olympic Park, with beautifully designed serene spaces by the river, children's playgrounds and outdoor gym equipment. Different running routes and bicycle paths. Colleges, schools and University. And finally, you can participate in the theatre experience by visiting one of world's best Shakespeare theatre. So when you ask me why do I love Stratford area, I think to myself: why not to? ;)

  7. Stratford is vibrant, well established with new properties, fantastic transport links to all over London. A fantastic Olympic Park and facilities with ongoing all year round events. Sports and social activities at your finger tips. And importantly a great vibe in the Westfield shopping centre with a unique allure of restaurants, casino, bowling and cinema. This is London's new hub of modern day living and a fresh approach to the city and its homes.

  8. There will be a gold rush in Stratford / West Ham Park and Plaistow in the next five to ten years as property prices are so cheap at the moment. There is some lovely housing stock waiting to be discovered! These low prices won't last as Stratford and the surrounding areas become property hot spots.

  9. West Ham, Plaistow and Stratford are all great areas to invest in property. It is so cheap at the moment but you can tell it won't last. There are some lovely Victorian houses and terraces in these areas that are just waiting to be developed! But they won't be around forever! Now is the time to get in and buy!!!

  10. Property is cheap and the area is going to enjoy a boom over the next 5 years
