Cooper & Wolf

Great for a lazy Sunday coffee and Swedish inspired dishes too.

The Bonneville

Located in Lower Clapton, The Bonneville is a quirky low-lit brasserie with a French-inspired menu and cocktails. Its décor is striking and cocktails speak for themselves. It is a must visit if you are a foody!

Brew for Two at St John's

This delightful café in the garden of St John-at-Hackney Church is great for an al fresco lunch when the weather is kind! Homemade burgers, cakes, sweet & sour crepes and Monmouth coffee!!!

Sodo Pizza Café

Fresh and high-quality food, really friendly staff, great atmosphere and good prices. The sourdough pizza are delicious and they source local beers and seasonal produce.

Lee Valley Ice Centre

A fantastic place to hang out with your friends and have a good time ice skating or playing ice hockey. You can also book ice skating lessons for a reasonable price.

Excellent homemade noodles, ramen and lots more. It's got a well-stocked bar too!

Chesham Arms

A revival of an old local boozer, residents fought hard to prevent this building being turned into flats and won after it was granted to be an 'asset of community value'!

Hackney Fresh

I often pop in to this fruit and veg shop for their fresh produce and a coffee. Very handy!

I always make a quick pit stop at this coffee van on the Narrow Way in the morning.

Yellow Warbler

Recently in Time Out as one of the best coffee shops of 2015, this family friendly, independent venue also sells South American street food and tasty breakfasts.

The Haberdashery

A beautiful, vintage-style café serving yummy cakes and proper coffee. Great for brunch.

Sutton and Sons

Best fish and chips in Stoke Newington!

Hackney Picturehouse

A great cinema that shows a lot of special screenings and q&a sessions, as well as popular Hollywood films.

Fabulous steak and a vibrant atmosphere - just as good as the sister restaurant in Clerkenwell.

Abney Park

Both an arboretum and a cemetery, Abney Park is one of London's 'Magnificent Seven' cemeteries built by the Victorians in the 19th century with beautiful grounds.
