Christmas wasn’t invented by the Victorians! The Tudors enjoyed a twelve-day-long festival of feasting, carols, gifts, mince pies and merrymaking, over which the Lord of Misrule held sway. Ancient traditions survived remarkably unchanged in the Tudor age of tumultuous religious upheaval. Please note: This lecture will only be available to attend in-person or to watch as a live stream, but not as a recording afterwards.

Come down and paint your own masterpiece with the guidance of our resident artist. We provide the materials (canvas, apron, paint, and easel), the subject and music. No experience necessary - we take you through it step by step. We use high quality materials with everything included in the price. There’s a maximum of 25 people in each class so that you get more time with the artist to perfect your masterpiece! So, whether alone or with friends, you can have a great time, and leave with your own piece of art to take home with you. You can also feel free to stick around for drinks after class!
