Boyden's Kitchen

This cafe serves amazing English and American breakfasts, homemade cakes, lunch and brunch. It has great staff and a picturesque location overlooking Princess Park Manor and there's late night opening on selected weekends, where they serve classic hot dogs.

The Walker Ground

A multi-functional sports ground with a bar. They also have an amazing fireworks display here on bonfire night!


An amazing varied menu, an all you can eat buffet and takeaway options. Cool décor and nice staff, this place is highly recommended!

A sports bar with real ales and a nice atmosphere.

La Vita

A family-run pizza restaurant that is amazing value for money!

La Genoise Café

This quaint patisserie is a wonderful place to grab your morning coffee. Be warned, you might find it difficult to resist one of the wonderfully presented items in the dessert display.

The Bohemia

Re-opened last June and beautifully refurbished. It's a brewpub and a restaurant and they also have events happening there every week. It's always packed and has become a bit of a local destination.

Ye Olde Cherry Tree

This charming pub is a former coaching inn and it also has a pretty beer garden that is perfect on summer evenings.

Thai & Co

A warm and elegant Thai restaurant serving Polynesian cocktails. Amazing Pad Thai and highly recommended Panang Seafood from the Thai & Co specialities menu.

Emporium Tea Room

A quaint tea room on the High Road - a great spot to celebrate birthdays and small get-togethers, with afternoon tea and cakes. Lovely vintage theme!

Il Funghetto

Il Funghetto promises the best in traditional and modern Italian dishes. Highly recommended!

The Indian Orchid

Parent and Toddler Group at St Peter le Poer

St Peter le Poer
The session starts with free play for the children and we come together at 10.45am for singing, birthday celebrations, fruit and juice. While the parents enjoy a hot drink the children sit down to do a simple craft activity, usually involving a lot of glue and glitter and sometimes some paint! We clear up together at 11.30am and then bring out the cars, trikes and scooters for a final charge around the spacious hall and to make sure everyone is really tired and ready for lunch by midday.
