Cleveland Square Fireworks

Fireworks night at Cleveland Square Gardens is fantastic for W2 residents! A yearly main event and one not to missed. Fireworks mixed in with dance music!

Oxford Square

A pretty spot in which to relax and eat lunch on a sunny day, just off Edgware Road.

Hyde Park

Early morning runs are not too painful with sights like this!

Little Venice's Canals

Picturesque walks and barge spotting along the waterways....

St. John's Hyde Park

Russian Speaking Playgroup
The Russian Speaking has returned to St John's after the summer holiday. There are crafts and toys for the children to play with and then part way through the group sing songs with a Russian folk singer, some English language and some Russian. There are then snacks which the children sit down to eat together at a table. Website

St. John's Church Playgroup

St. John's Church Playgroup
For many year's St John's has hosted an Under 5's playgroup. There is lots of space for children to play and playgroups make friends and provides a social contact for parents and carers. As well as toys there are sometimes songs and stories. Having enjoyed it so much, parents have come back for a post-school group once a week. There is also an increasing community of Russian speakers which are coming together once a week to tell Russian stories and sing Russian songs alongside English stories and songs.     Paddington is an area of the City of Westminster, in Central London. Formerly a metropolitan borough, it was integrated with Westminster and Greater London in 1965. Three important landmarks of the district are Paddington station, designed by the celebrated engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel and opened in 1847; St Mary's Hospital and Paddington Green police station (the most important high-security police station in the United Kingdom).
