As June gets underway the corporate lettings market becomes increasingly busy. This is due to two main factors: the financial year is now in full swing so relocation budgets have been allocated, while the academic calendar means families are seeking to settle into their new homes by September.
This is an excellent time for landlords to realise the potential of their rental investments but, similarly, tenants have also come to expect more from their homes.
As a result we have seen demand for high-specification properties rocket, and Chiswick with its beautiful properties and upmarket amenities has attracted much of this activity. Many tenants of this type are only in London for a limited period, so a number of homes on our books are rented on a short term basis; in fact, landlords often put their properties on both the long and short term market and simply see what transpires.
We also see an influx of families as we come into summer, particularly corporate tenants coming from overseas.
To celebrate this trend I'd like to present a stunning five bedroomed Victorian house on Sutton Lane South in Grove Park, which is a prime example of a high-end family abode.
