Letting property in Ealing is great, if only for the diversity.
From the high-specification apartments in developments such as Cavalier House and Daniel Quarter to quaint Hanwell houses backing on to the river, no home here is typical.
This goes a long way towards explaining this area's broad appeal there are no typical tenants either; some are here for the excellent transport links and plentiful parks, while others prefer to enjoy the space that properties in and around Ealing tend to offer compared with other parts of town. Many of the tenants we see are relocating to London from overseas or other parts of the UK; others have lived here for years and are simply looking to upgrade. We recently took on a property whose owners lived there for no less than 30 years. The home, a beautiful five bedroomed detached house on Carlton Gardens in the heart of Ealing, has served as the perfect family home throughout that time; the owners raised four sons here.
It is certainly deserving of the title with its generous proportions, plentiful bathrooms and magnificent conservatory that doubles as a large living space.
Outside the garden is vast and green, a fact not missed by the wildlife it frequently attracts.
But perhaps the crowning glory of this home for the head of the household, at least is the enormous master bedroom, which leads not only to an en suite bathroom but also to a large dressing room. The property, which is located just off Haven Green, previously appeared in a feature in this very magazine. This huge two bedroomed flat in the Grange Park development in central Ealing let through us on the very first viewing.
The new tenant signed a 12 month contract and paid 1,650 per month.
