This week in our Where do London’s celebrities live series, we focus on the leafy south-west suburb of Wimbledon. While celebrities from all over the globe descend on Wimbledon in the summer months for the tennis, today we’re bringing you a list of Wimbledon’s long-standing residents.

Darcey Bussell

Star of our Saturday night screens and a retired ballerina, Darcey Bussell now lives in Wimbledon after relocating from Australia to London in 2012. Born and raised in the capital, Darcey, like many others living here, likes the quiet, suburban life that Wimbledon offers.

This stylish two bedroom flat is set within a stunning development close to where Darcey lives.

Boris Becker

There’s nothing more fitting than former Wimbledon champ Boris Becker living in the home of tennis itself. Not far from the tennis grounds, we’ll expect to see Boris at Wimbledon over the next few weeks rubbing shoulders with the stars.

This lovely five bedroom house is located next to Wimbledon Village and not far from Boris’s impressive family home.

Andy Hamilton

Andy Hamilton, the comedian and writer of award-winning BBC show Outnumbered, was born and raised in Fulham.

Sticking to his London roots, he now lives in Wimbledon with his wife and children, where they seem to get involved with whatever’s going on in the local social calendar. He’s been quoted saying he loves Wimbledon Park and what – the surprisingly hilly – Wimbledon has to offer.

Newly built, this chic three bedroom flat close to Andy’s home is great for enjoying Wimbledon Park too.

Jamie T

Born and raised in Wimbledon, singer-songwriter Jamie T hasn’t moved far from the family home he was brought up in, where he penned his debut album.

Not a stranger to suburban life, he once said in an interview that he finds it a bit boring, but home is home nonetheless and he has stayed put in leafy Wimbledon for his 29 years.

This contemporary two bedroom flat for sale is not far from both Wimbledon Station and exclusive Wimbledon Village.

Take a look at where celebrities in Holland Park and Richmond live, too.
