The inaugural event for the Women@Foxtons programme took place last night at the Landmark Hotel in Marylebone.
CEO Nic Budden and other senior leaders joined members of the women’s mentor groups at Foxtons to celebrate the success of the groups, which have been running for three years. The company’s initiatives around diversity and addressing the gender pay gap were also discussed by Nic and a panel of senior leaders from a variety of areas within the business.
Attendees gained insights from the panel about their own career paths, the challenges of managing a work/life balance, the enhanced parental leave package, flexible working practices and other ways to get the most out of a career at Foxtons. The event also marked the launch of the Foxtons LGBTQ+ network – more on this soon.
Xenia Dvorinova, Senior Short Lets Negotiator at our Park Lane office, attended the event:
“It was a fantastic event full of very useful information. I felt proud to be part of a company where the management is supporting equal opportunities – a lot of the worries and questions I had on my mind have been answered.”
Rachel Bird, Sales Manager at our Wapping office, commented:
"The Women at Foxtons event was a fantastic opportunity for many of our very successful female negotiators to engage with senior management, to be encouraged and empowered to celebrate their achievements and set high-level career goals."
Additional events are planned in the future to build on the success of Foxtons' mentoring groups and to further encourage diversity.
