After graduating from university with a 2:1 in Forensic Biology I was unsure what to do next. I went for my interview at the Foxtons Headquarters and as soon as the lift doors opened I knew that this was the company I wanted to work for. Everyone seemed so energetic, enthusiastic and career-orientated.

I began my Foxtons career in October 2006 as an Office Co-ordinator in our first Surrey office in Guildford. I helped set up and establish the office which was an exciting challenge for me. I took a lot of pride in this office as I knew that my role directly affected it. My job included supporting the Sales and Lettings Managers, managing the office and administration, looking after our customers and liaising with all the departments across the company. The role was so vast that no day ever the same. Any changes I made were beneficial to the team and the office as a whole, ensuring that it ran smoothly and efficiently. Due to the success of the Guildford office, I was also asked to help with the opening of our new Woking office.

After excelling at my position, I was promoted to Roaming Office Co-ordinator for the West and Surrey division looking after seven offices. In 2010, I was then promoted to Divisional Office Co-ordinator for the West and Surrey division which was an even bigger challenge for me and I began managing my own team which has helped me greatly improve my leadership skills. The week was divided between the seven offices, which enabled me to have regular contact with my team. As well as this, my includes training existing and new employees, conducting meetings and implementing new procedures to improve the running of the offices. Further to this I help support our busy Area Director by carrying out general ad hoc tasks.

My confidence has grown over the years and I have learned invaluable communication skills. As a result of my hard work I have taken on more responsibilities and have seen my offices excel which has been thoroughly gratifying and in June 2015 I was promoted to Divisional Manager for the department, looking after all of our offices across London. Foxtons has given me the chance to progress and is a brilliant company which rewards you for all your hard work.
