Standard Garden admission applies for entry to Capel Manor Gardens. Paid activities and workshops can be added to your visit at an additional cost per child or participating adult. Children must be supervised at all times. Supervising adults who are not taking part only need to purchase standard Garden admission.
Spaces are limited and pre-booking is essential.

Join us this May half-term for a fun and educational outdoor adventure designed for young explorers! Take part in a guided minibeast hunt and safely explore and identify creatures in their natural habitat. Suitable for children between the ages of five and eight.
After the hunt, participants will enjoy a creative craft session, making their own minibeast-inspired creations using natural materials and colourful craft supplies.
The minibeast hunt and craft activity will take place outdoors, so please dress appropriately for the weather to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience. To keep the workshop size small and ensure an engaging experience, we can allow one supervising adult per child only.
The cost is5 per child. Book your tickets online and come along for a morning or afternoon of discovery, creativity, and nature-based fun.
Terracotta Pot Painting and Planting Activity

Fill up your half-term week with some fun at Capel Manor Gardens this May. On Wednesday 27 and Friday 29 May, bring the family along to explore their love for nature and creativity by painting a terracotta pot and planting a colourful flower.
This mindful indoor workshop is aimed at children aged five and above, but is also suitable for adults! All necessary materials will be provided, we just advise that you bring some old clothes you dont mind getting paint on. The cost is 8 per child or participating adult.
We have two sessions per day, please arrive 15 minutes before your session begins as the workshops will begin promptly.

Perfect for little ones to enjoy a calm moment of listening, interaction, and discovery, storytelling in the garden offers a wonderful way to connect with both stories and the natural world.
The morning session is designed for little ones aged five and under. For children over the age of five, please book onto the afternoon session.
Storytelling sessions are included within garden admission and are at no additional cost. Very limited spaces available. The storytelling will take place outdoors under the oak tree so please bring your own mats, in the event of wet weather we will move the session indoors.
Colour dabs craft activity

Let children explore the beauty of nature through colour in this hands-on creative session. Children will head out into the gardens and collect a variety of colourful flowers and natural materials. Using their finds, theyll be able to make their very own colour dabs to take home.
This activity encourages curiosity, creativity, and a closer connection to the natural world, while giving children the freedom to express themselves through colour, texture, and design. Perfect for young artists who love getting creative and making something truly wonderful
