The Museum of the Order of St John Cloister Garden

A wonderful quiet garden for people in the know and ideal to sit in on a summer's day. Make sure you also take time to find the entrance to the original crypt, a wonderfully thematic space with tombs dating back hundreds of years.

J & A Café

The best Irish fry up with real Irish soda bread and Ballymaloe relish!

Foxlow

Amazing food! The service is fantastic and the steak and salmon are out of this world...

Bishopsgate Kitchen

Great food in a glass-walled Benugo restaurant that has a varied menu made using local produce. It is just a short walk from London Liverpool Street and Spitalfields Market.

Mugen

Owned and operated by Japanese ladies, this gem on Cowcross Street opposite Farringdon Station offers quite simply the best selection of sushi and other Japanese food this side of Kyoto!

The Folly

The Folly at Monument is like a Secret Garden! Perfect for weekend brunches, lazy lunches or catch ups after work - whatever the occasion, the Folly can do it!

Look Mum No Hands

A great concept for anyone who loves cycling. Full-time mechanics working upstairs that can help with flat tyres and answer any questions about bikes, as well as a great outdoor area to sit and bask in the sun with a coffee and food.

Finsbury Avenue Square Market

Every other Tuesday there is a wonderful artisan market with everything from cheese and wine stalls, haggis toasties and Japanese food, to the more standard but delicious cakes, cookies and doughnuts!

St Paul's Cathedral

One of London's most famous landmarks with a beautiful, ornate interior and regular tours.

The Barbican Exhibition Centre

A quirky but intimate spot for live plays and music events. Home of London Symphony Orchestra!

The Modern Pantry

Great brunch/lunch spot and really fresh food. Worth booking as people come especially to Clerkenwell to eat here.

Tramshed

A Mark Hix restaurant with a huge Damien Hurst cow and chicken on display, created specifically for Tramshed! The menu is simple but very tasty!

Bounce

A great place to enjoy a drink, food and a good game of ping pong in the founding home of table tennis!

Nightjar

The most sophistication you can find between two kebab shops on a roundabout. A speakeasy-style cocktail bar underneath the adjacent shops, serving the best cocktail creations in town.

The Slaughtered Lamb

Great atmosphere, live bands, excellent wine! Sometimes you see the cast of Eastenders and Ed Sheeran in here.
