A lovely little Caribbean restaurant on Mare Street in East London. They offer the best jerk chicken along with other Caribbean dishes.

Broadway Market is the exact place to go to experience the best of what east London has to offer, with its fantastic range of food stalls, restaurants, shops and pubs! If you go in the summer, be sure to grab a beer and head over to London Fields, where the standard BBQ doesn't exist.

An incredible restaurant in east London. Bright yellow and tiny in size, it serves the best fried chicken with American-style sides, including the dill and pomegranate slaw, which is unreal! Booking is recommended...

A club based off Hackney Road where international DJs and live acts play regularly. It also has terrace parties in the summer.

I love a weekend walk along Regent's Canal with a glass of rosé from Towpath.

If you can't face the crowds at London's bigger museums, head to this place for a quieter and nicer experience. This museum is all about the home throughout the centuries and the café sells delicious cakes too!

After trying nearly all of the Vietnamese restaurants on Kingsland Road, this is by far the best. The setting is cool with graffiti style art on the walls and the service is excellent compared to other places on the same road. Complimentary tea and watermelon at the end is exactly what is needed after trying the extensive menu of pho, noodles, summer rolls and fresh fish.

This infamous 24/7 bagel bakery is a firm favourite with both locals and tourists - the salt beef bagel is certainly hard to beat!

Haggerston is an area and a electoral ward in the London Borough of Hackney, in northeast London. It is bounded by Hackney Road on the south, Kingsland Road on the west, Middleton Road on the north with London Fields and Broadway Market on the east. In the 1990s a number of the area's more rundown housing estates were refurbished and some disused public buildings were privately converted as gated communities. The proximity to Hoxton and Shoreditch has made the area popular with students and workers in the creative industries.
