From a beers roasty malts, such as in a stout, complementing the dark roast in a chocolate with a high cocoa solid content to a bitter bringing out the flavours in a chocolate with fruits and spice.And find out what beers goes with white chocolate! This tutored tasting, led by Master Trainer and International Beer Judge, Christine Cryne, will combine five beers with five chocolates, all free trade and some with interesting, yet delightful flavours. The tasting starts at 2.15pm in the upstairs room in the Pineapple, a regular entry into CAMRAs Good Beer Guide and just 5 minute walk from Kentish Town Station. The session will last about 2 hours.

A North London local, David has worked with artists such as Cliff Richard, David and Carrie Grant, Paul Jones and others. Expect mellow tones and laid-back, engaging style on the piano. David is a versatile pianist, guitarist and singer who brings a heartfelt, soulful vibe to songs from a lifetime performing on stages of all sizes. Because of his genuine love of all kinds of music he aims to create a relaxed atmosphere, happy to include a request or two in his eclectic set.

Singer-songwriter Heather Joyce returns to the folk and acoustic roots scene at last. Having run away from a French circus to raise two feisty daughters, she now plays a unique duet concertina, designed and made by Edward Jay and fondly known as Megan - cos it’s all about the bass. Heather’s songs are inspired by the traditions of the many other instruments she plays - (5-string banjo, medieval harp, saxophones, flutes, clarinets etc...). She blends acerbic and tender lyrics with soaring melodies that will stir your heart. As a teenager she was one half of anarchist punk duo Toxic Shock, performing with Poisongirls, Nightingales and Chumbawamba. Heather then worked extensively as a musician and composer in dance and music theatre, as well as touring the UK folk circuit in the 1990s, when Time Out refered to her as ‘a gifted multi instrumentalist playing distinctly heavy metal banjo’. Now permanently based in France, her new songs are more reflective but no less uplifting - a celebration of life, love and why the cream should always go on first.

It’s our most ambitious yet, with a company of actor-musicians and a live saloon pianist bringing the world to life, and the audience get to join in the singalongs too. Welcome to Graveside, a dusty frontier town where the saloon and the general store look suspiciously similar, gold fever is running high, and (hobby) horses roam free. There’s stolen treasure, suspicious strangers, and a Reverend who may not practice what he preaches. Each performance, a different celebrity becomes the new Sherriff in town – completely unrehearsed, armed only with an earpiece and their wits.
