Amazing place, so small that you may miss it if it isn't recommended! A family run business close to Highbury Barn, perfect for breakfast, brunch or dinner. They have now started doing jazz nights on a Thursday too.

This is a legendary late-night hotspot in Finsbury Park. It is open until 2:30am Friday and Saturday and has karaoke too.

One of the most succulent chicken roasts you'll ever taste in a pub, with all of their meats supplied from the organic butcher just across the road.

A coffee shop with a difference! Great food, lovely staff, quirky décor and even better coffee, all in the heart of Blackstock Road. There's a lounge area and garden, complete with an air-raid shelter and table tennis, which is the perfect place to hide away from the hustle and bustle of Finsbury Park. It's more than a coffee shop, Blighty is a community.

The owner is from Naples and it's a super friendly Italian. Very pretty place, service is wonderful and it has freshly made pasta and homemade puds.

Just opposite Crouch Hill Station, this restaurant serves ENORMOUS sandwiches and booze, perfect for an evening feast, as it is only open from 5pm in the week.

I love Newington Green because of the close community and village atmosphere. The proximity to Clissold and Church Street is handy, but Newington Green has most of what you need. This part of Green Lanes is really changing for the better and it's an exciting place to go now!
