What is your favourite place?

Where do KT6 locals go?

Gordon Bennett!

A really popular bar/restaurant on tree-lined Maple Road.

Langley's is lovely for an evening drink and their food menu is good. Gets a little loud on Wednesdays when it's Ladies Night!

Casa Viva

Best Italian food I've had in the area by far. Coupled with great service and a wonderful selection of wine.

The Grove

Gastro pub with tasty food and a large beer garden.

Tarte in the Park

Run by the people from The French Tarte cafe in Surbiton, this cafe in Victoria Recreation Ground is perfect for a quick lunch.

The Harts Boatyard

With large windows overlooking the Thames, this delightful restaurant makes it feel as if you're dining on a ship!

Caffé Amici

Potentially the smallest café/restaurant I have come across, but packed with rustic charm. The staff are all Italian and sell a great range of foodstuffs - the freshly made sandwiches on Italian breads are a must have at lunch and are so delicious!

The Victoria

Recently refurbed pub with a traditional pub feel, it has a great atmosphere and outdoor seating areas with fireplaces to warm you up.

The Antelope

A great pub to meet up with friends over a few drinks.

Surbiton Farmers' Market

This fabulous farmers' market is on Maple Road every third Saturday of the month. There are 26 stalls of fresh farm produce and speciality foods, and it's a great place for meeting friends in the adjoining bars and restaurants. All surplus proceeds go to local charities.

Bosco Lounge

Great for a night out with friends, great vibe and amazing cocktails.

The French Tarte

A bakery/café that everyone talks about for their unique breads and other delicacies.

Ristorante Sorrento

Sorrento in Tolworth serves amazing Italian food and at good value too.

The French Table

This restaurant does delicious food! A wonderful place to celebrate any special occasion.

Kidz Rock

Kidz Rock is a soft play and family diner. Facilities are great and clean, the kids love it!

"Surbiton is extremely peaceful and friendly. I live in a residential area that has a warmth to it. Crime rates are exceptionally low and people seem very friendly. Rent is reasonable as well and with trains into central London that only take 20 minutes, it is in an ideal location for commuting or just general sight seeing. There is something quite lovely about travelling past the London Eye and Houses of Parliament on the way ... more
