"The cuisine in Wood Green is the best in North London. As a Greek/Cypriot living in London, I have found some of the best Greek shops and restaurants in this area. My absolute favourite places are Vrisaki in Myddleton Road and Paneri on High Road. "

Every Monday from 11am till 1pm join local parents at the NCTea @ Blend 587 Green lanes N8 0RG an opportunity for local parents to meet up with others. Blend (www.localblend.co.uk) is a lovely spacious new cafe on Green Lanes between Allison and Beresford Roads. It has a very child-friendly approach so bring along your buggies and roaming toddlers as well as bumps and babies. Blend has great coffee teas cakes and a lunch menu as well as a blackboard corner and plenty of children's books. The kind owners Steve and Linda are reserving the big table at the back for us -- we look forward to starting the week with you!
