Perfect pub for dog owners, as it is pet friendly. It makes a great end to a walk around Alexandra Park. Food is amazing too!

A very cosy and cute little café in Muswell Hill. They make very tasty salads and freshly baked homemade cakes that everyone will fall in love with. It's definitely a great place to go for brunch or just a nice cup of tea!

I often visit this butchers if I'm having guests over for dinner. The quality of their meat is excellent and they're clearly very knowledgeable about what they do.

This pub has been standing in Crouch End since 1899, so it's a real local institution. The kitchen serves great gastropub food and a delicious Sunday roast that's always guaranteed to leave you full!

The Challenge Playgroup runs on Friday mornings in St. James' Church Hall, Muswell Hill. The happy noises of children playing are like those of hundreds of playgroups around the country. But this playgroup is special. It is run for children with additional needs; for their siblings, parents, carers and grandparents too. Parents are welcome without their child too, if they attend nursery or school on that day.In a quiet haven next door to the designated play area is a sanctuary of fresh flowers, bean bags-and absolute quiet-parents can sit in here and read a newspaper or magazine, retreat into their own thoughts or even have a massage most weeks, whilst a CRB checked volunteer plays with their child next door.
