What locals say about NW3

  1. Apart from amazing personal memories, I think it's London's most charming and romantic place. Lovely restaurants, beautiful park, breathtaking mansions and top-class bars. By some country miles, London's best place.

  2. It offers a great selection of family-friendly restaurants and shops, along with close proximity to Primrose Hill, Regent's Part and Hampstead Heath.

  3. Church End is AMAZING. It's like a pretty English village, yet you're still in zone 4. The houses are big, beautiful and full of character. Residents take care of their homes (or have gardeners who do) and it's like Chelsea (where we used to live). Homes are expensive but worth it because you still get so much more for your money here. Moving here was the best decision we made for our kids. Best roads are Hendon Avenue, Dollis Avenue and St Mary's Avenue, as they are wide, quiet, have the biggest houses and the gardens are just beautiful - but if you can't afford those, the other roads are nice as well!

  4. The area is safe, therefore it's best for living as a family.

  5. It is the most historical, splendid neighbourhood in London. With it's architectural variation and beauty, the close proximity to the Heath, the eclectic mix of residents and the close proximity to so many other great areas it dazzles the senses.

  6. Lots of cafes, easy access to central London, quiet and beautiful area with lots of period homes, gardens and plants.

  7. Hampstead is chic but not too snobby. Close to a big park, has restaurants and shops - excellent schools.

  8. The eclectic stucco architecture and numerous trees in the area, the proximity to wide green spaces such as Primrose Hill and Hampstead Heath. The fact that Belsize Park has three distinct focal shopping disctricts in Englands lane, Haverstock Hill and Steeles Village, and Belsize Village make it a cosmopolitan and trendy area. The convenience of being so close to the City makes the area extremely desirable, not to mention you can indulge in the odd, lucky dose of celebrity spotting...

Hampstead Parish Church
Are you in need of some well deserved me time? Do you feel that your toddler isn't quite ready for full time nursery but would benefit from a caring and stimulating environment to socialise with other children? We know that as a Mum time is precious and that you rarely get time to yourself to do all those things that you used to do like going for a nice haircut or doing a yoga class. Sometimes the thought of leaving your child at nursery for a full day might be daunting and you might feel that you're both not quite ready yet. We believe that providing toddlers with short bite-size sessions will give them a gentle introduction to the nursery environment whilst giving you a chance to tend to personal tasks. Our 2 hour drop off sessions have a strong focus on music and incorporate key EYFS and Montessori methods and equipment to educate stimulate and give children a sense of fun. Website
