Baby Rhyme Time

Baby Rhyme Time is a lively session of songs and rhymes with action for babies and toddlers and their carers. This session is for parents/carers and their children aged 0-2 years. Families can: come and make friends, learn and sing songs that will help your child learn, and help develop your child's imagination. There is no need to book just turn up. Please note these sessions are for members of Wandsworth libraries only. If you would like to join the library you will need to complete a library application form and provide a proof of identity and address. You will then be given a library membership card which will allow you to borrow items and attend this type of session. Website

St Stephen's Parent and Toddler Group

St Stephen's Church Hall
Parent and toddler groups provide a place where parents/carers can take their young children to enjoy play activities and socialise. At the group children can enjoy free play singing snack time and join in a craft activity. This group is for parents/carers and their children aged 0-5 years (you do not have to be a member of the Church to join the group). Attending the group can: give parents/carers a chance to get support and advice, start children meeting and interacting with other children, and help prepare children for starting day care and nursery education. There is no waiting list for this group so you can just drop-in. £2 for parents and first child, which includes tea and coffee (£3 per family if more than one child attending) Website

Little Kickers (Football for Children)

We have four different football classes each tailored to a different age group. However, we have two core beliefs that we take into every session. Firstly, we believe in something we call "Play not Push". It means teaching football in a fun, pressure-free environment. We want to give children a positive introduction to sport as a whole, not just football, so they're more likely to stay healthy and active throughout their lives. Secondly, we believe football can be educational. Coached in the right way it can stimulate imagination and aid early development skills such as learning colours and numbers, following instructions and playing as a team. It's an approach that has bagged us numerous awards and helped us expand globally over the last 12 years. And like all our Kickers, we never stop learning. We're continually improving and updating our classes, based on feedback and input from child health specialists as well as our network of over 1,500 football coaches worldwide. Approved Football Training for 2 - 5 years of age. 2-3 ½ years: 14:15 - 15:00 2-3 ½ years: 15:15 - 16:00 3 ½ - 5 years: 16:15 - 17.00 Mega Kickers: 5-7 years - £96.00 / 12 Sessions New members will be charged a one off membership fee of £16.00. Parent and toddler groups provide a place where parents/carers can take their young children to enjoy play activities and socialise. This is a local playgroup run by mothers for parent carers and children to meet play together and relax with a coffee/tea. We have access to a two rooms the larger one which has ride ons for the children and a lovely garden for the children to play in. Do come and join us! Swimming Academy lessons are delivered under the Swimming Academy brand and follows the Amateur Swimming Association's (ASA) Learn to Swim framework. This uses fun and games to take children from the first splash to full competence in the pool and will ultimately help your child develop confidence in the water. The ASAs Learn to Swim Programme guides your child through ten clearly defined stages and there's a foundation level to get babies as young as six-months-old started. All of the ASA Learn to Swim Programme is supported by the Kellogg's ASA Awards scheme. Children and young people can: enhance their swimming skills improve their fitness have fun.
