A newly refurbished pub that has possibly one of the best Sunday roasts in the area...

The William Bray

This gastro pub is set in the heart of the Surrey Hills in the village of Shere, which was the village used for many scenes from the movie 'The Holiday' with Cameron Diaz and Jude Law.

St James' Church

A delightful historic landmark at the heart of village life and featured in 'Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason' and 'The Holiday'.

Thula Mama is an inspirational singing group for parents and carers of babies aged from birth to walking. We learn and sing lullabies and songs from around the world to share with our little ones. And we sing in beautiful 3-part harmony. You don't need to have any previous singing experience, just come along and enjoy sharing music with a group and with your baby. Website

NCT Bumps & Babies

Trinity Centre Trinity Churchyard
A group for expectant mums and parents with young babies (generally up to walking). Come along for a hot drink and chat with other local parents while the babies play on the playmats and toys provided. Plenty of space for buggies toilets baby changing and a quiet room. On the last Wednesday of each month we also have a special event running alongside the usual group - previous activities have included arts and crafts music sessions mini photo sessions and stalls. Held in the centre of town at the Trinity Centre next to Holy Trinity Church at the top of the high street. The nearest car park is Sydenham Road. Entry £1 for NCT members £2 non-members including refreshments. Website

Tiny Tunes provide 3 months - 5 years pay as you go Music and Dance Classes, Nursery Sessions and Parties in London, Middlesex, Surrey & Berkshire . Hide under a parachute, wave the pom poms, meet Mr Tiny, shake the maracas, dance with bubbles and sing along! As well as the all time favourite rhymes and songs, Tiny Tunes gets the little ones dancing to some of the well known pop classics! Price: £5 per child ( £2.50 Siblings) Pay as you go so you just turn up! Website

NCT Bumps & Babies

Burgundy & Black
B&B is held on the first and third Friday of every month. B&B is for mums with bumps and both parents or carers of non-mobile babies. So come along and meet others for tea or coffee get yourself out of the house and get your baby socialising. If your child is more mobile or you have older toddlers just be aware that this is a cafe environment. This is open to all there is no need to have attended NCT classes or be a member. Website
