What is your favourite place?

Where do SE6 locals go?

Le Querce

The finest Italian restaurant I have ever been to, with a varied and fresh menu that caters for everyone from meat eaters to vegans and all in between without seeming to try! I book for anniversaries, birthdays, visits from friends - any excuse to attend the best restaurant I know of. It may not look particularly salubrious, but it is child-friendly by day and romantically candle-lit by night. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Brown & Green Cafe

This charming cafe sells delicious cakes and fried breakfasts. It's a great spot to visit on a lazy Sunday afternoon or after a jog around Mayow Park!

Mayow Park

With a bowling green, play area and cricket pitches, Mayow Park is a great place to chill out at the weekend.

Archibald's

An independent coffeeshop with a gorgeous sun trap of a garden that serves an amazing full brunch menu.

The Shop Revolution Marketplace

The Shop Revolution Marketplace host lots of unique events like poetry and craft nights, with all the items they sell produced by independent designers and jewellery makers. This picture was taken at a Miss Victoria's Floral Emporium flower arranging workshop.

Good Thymes Supper Club

A monthly supper club inside someone's home in Ladywell, where local people come to meet and taste some good home-cooked food. Every month there's a different theme.

Jam Circus

A quirky pub that serves good food. It's also child friendly during the day.

Luciano's

Such great service from this independent restaurant. The pizzas and the seafood are highly recommended!

Cherry & Ice

A café serving delicious ice creams and milkshakes with the friendliest staff - they're so lovely and helpful and always make me feel welcome.

Matoom

The best Thai restaurant with always fresh produce, taste buds will be working overtime as each mouthful gives you more to think about. A truly unique experience!!!

Fee & Brown

There is truly only one place to go in Beckenham. That's Fee & Brown for coffee, coffee, coffee!

Deli Nene

If you're looking for a tasty white hot chocolate whilst you get lost in a good book, a £5 English breakfast to cure your ills from the night before, a place to take the kids whilst you catch up with friends and loved ones, or a great daytime into nighttime date location, then Deli Nene is the place to go.

Alexandra Nurseries

Fantastic independent café, home and garden centre.

Coppers

Coppers is a beautiful restaurant in an old police station. The food here is lovely and the afternoon tea with prosecco is a real treat!

Sapore Vero

Lovely little Italian restaurant with wood fire cooked pizzas! Also accept Tastecards in the week, which is a great bargain!
