Oxleas Wood Cafe and Severndroog Castle

Severndroog Castle tea rooms do super food and jolly posh teas in the considerately renovated folly albeit with sometimes random opening hours, check the website! Oxleas Wood Cafe is always open and always makes for a pleasant break with plenty of space for the kids to play and dogs to be run.

Such great service from this independent restaurant. The pizzas and the seafood are highly recommended!

An independent coffeeshop with a gorgeous sun trap of a garden that serves an amazing full brunch menu.

Fantastic olive bread and a great place to pick up a sneaky afternoon snack!

The food and wide range of beers brewed in house make this place so popular! They do scrumptious, fresh stonebaked pizzas and the views of Blackheath are great. A nice place for a drink and food.

Buenos Aires Café

The best Argentinian steak restaurant ever, where the walls are covered in iconic photos taken by its owner. Definitely ask for an upstairs table overlooking Blackheath.

The Bickley

This pub set within a beautiful period building next to Chislehurst Caves has a warm atmosphere, a wide range of ales and delicious pub grub.

Cinnamon Culture

The best Indian food in the most beautiful surroundings and with great friendly service too.

Ginger and Bean

A cute coffee shop in Sundridge Park with homemade cakes and toasted sandwiches. The coffee is to die for!

An Indian restaurant and bar, which even has a hotel too! Fantastic curries that are not your average Friday night food. Bit pricey but well worth it!

Susan Clark Interiors

A lovely independent interiors shop, selling fab pieces of furniture, fabrics, small gifts and unique cards.

Railway Tavern

Home to the best bangers 'n' mash and one of the hardest pub quizzes, this pub offers a wide range of Indian pale ales. It's a stones throw from Bromley North Station, so it's perfect for commuters who fancy a pint after work.

A great mix of Italian and Mediterranean cuisines, cheap prices and fantastic service!

Bar du Vin

Karaoke, members' club and late nights at the weekend, Bar du Vin is Bromley's only wine bar.

Greenwich Park

Going for a run is never dull with this on your doorstep...

Our neighbours have lived here for generations and really look out for us; the bars are really great and there are some fantastic gastropubs - one of which we were lucky enough to get married in!
