Where do Sheerwater locals go?

Horsell Common

Just north of Woking town centre, with walks leading to Old Woking sand quarry. A great place to take the dog!

Sands at Bleak House

Serving the best scallops in Woking and only a two minute drive from the centre, so a great choice for a walk followed by lunch.

The Inn at Maybury

Gastro pub with a lovely beer garden.

The Big Apple

Bowling, arcades and Laser Quest - the best family entertainment!

The Wheatsheaf

A welcoming pub overlooking Woking Green, The Wheatsheaf is a great place to watch rugby on the weekend and it does a really good Sunday lunch as well.


One of my favourite places to grab a healthy lunch.... Beats Starbucks and Pret every time!


Enjoy ice cream? Cream's has the best variety of very naughty treats. The Oreo sundae is my favourite!

Hoebridge Golf Centre

One of the best of the 11 golf courses within a few miles of Woking town centre!

Go Sushi

Delicious Japanese food, loads of options, a nice atmosphere and fantastic service. A hidden gem!

A great little family-owned Italian place with a calm and easy atmosphere perfect if you want to chill out. They have a great choice of dishes!

"I would like to know what it is like now. I lived with my family in Albert Drive when it just openend as a new estate. I went to school there as a 12 year old but we eventually moved to New Zealand. I have fond memories of it. I really was happy living there."
