A favourite of mine, this deli in Barnes sells things to take away and tasty lunch and dinnertime meals.

Spread over 3,000 hectares and part of what defines Barnes, it's a great day out for all the family.

Excellent quality produce that's cheaper than the supermarket!

A rustic, homely pub holding jazz nights and live gigs throughout the week.

"Barnes is a wonderful area to live in. It is very close to the Thames, has great rail links to the city, and some of the most charming pubs you will find anywhere. It is close to the A3 and the M4. Barnes pond is very picturesque. There are a number of coffee shops, restaurants, and stores meaning a weekend in Barnes is time well spent."

"Hammersmith Bridge is the oldest suspension bridge in London. The Victorian ironwork was the first suspension bridge to be built over the River Thames, linking Hammersmith with Barnes. It is now a Grade II listed structure."
