The best fish and chips in South London, right on Tooting High Street.

MUD

Just along Mitcham Lane, this cafe serves a delicious brunch menu. The coffee is really good and the dishes are all served with a MUD twist - the prettiest breakfast I've ever seen!

The Castle

Jump off the tube at Tooting Broadway and straight to the bar! The beer garden is amazing. Definitely one of the best pubs in Tooting and South London.

Cut the Mustard

This delightful cafe between Tooting and Streatham is a real hidden gem. They have everything you would expect on a brunch menu and the portions are huge!

The Trafalgar Arms

A brilliant gastro pub that has been refurbished beautifully. The outdoor seating area at the front is great in the summer.

Tooting Broadway Market

One of the busiest markets in the South West, Tooting Market injects life and diversity to the already vibrant Tooting Broadway area. We're always talking about the property market, this is the real market we should be raving about!

Brand new coffee shop that has opened and I love it! Delicious coffee, chilled out atmosphere and a great edition to Tooting. The falafel and avocado sandwich is awesome!

Fisher & Co.

Really nice paninis, jacket potatoes and pastries. It serves a good cup of tea as well!

Meza

Awesome Lebanese food at a good price. I would recommend a £6 lunch box deal, but make sure you order a little in advance.

TOTA

An amazing restaurant for brunch or dinner, serving dishes from all over the world. The ribs are fantastic!

Much better than your average high street chicken shop! You must visit this place...

Great brunch, cakes and coffee!

Kaosarn

A great family-run Thai restaurant opened after success in their Clapham Junction and Brixton restaurants.

Tartine

A really nice café for lunch or a quick coffee with friends. They serve Mediterranean-style food and breakfasts until 5pm on the weekends.

Graveney & Meadow
This is a crafty club for toddlers and carers. Choose from toddler activities, projects to make together or craft something for yourself while baby is napping! Then enjoy a cuppa and some yummy freshly made Graveney and Meadow cake. The workshops are drop-in and all materials are provided. Cost £5 per child. Splash proof aprons will be provided, but these are messy play sessions so old clothes are advised. Website

Franciscan Children's Centre
Stay and Play sessions aim to help parents/carers learn how to include play in every day routines with their children. These sessions are for parents/carers and their children aged 0-5 years. Website

Stories and Rhymes

Tooting Library
Session for parents to share stories and rhymes with their young children. For parents carers childminders and children aged 0-5 years. Families can: learn rhymes that can then be shared with babies at home, develop their speech and language skills, and have fun. Please drop in as there is no need to book but please be aware that sessions can be very busy. Please note these sessions are for members of the Wandsworth libraries only. If you would like to join the library you will need to complete a library application form and provide a proof of identity and address. You will then be given a library membership card which will allow you to borrow items and attend this type of session. Website

Friday Frogs

St Nicholas' Church
The children play with the toys and with playdough, colouring and crafts as they wish. Parents and carers have the chance to chat and enjoy cups of tea, coffee and fruit tea and delicious homemade cake with a watchful eye on their children! At the end of the morning, we sing some of our favourite songs and out comes our puppet friend 'Max' who tells us a Bible story. It is our hope and prayer that the group offers good support and friendship to parents and carers in the local community. We'd love you to join us. Website
