The Banc

Amazing home-cooked burgers, steaks and more in a former Barclays bank building. Owned by two friends who have also bought the coffee shop across the road!

Yasar Halim

The best place for cheap fruit and veg on Green Lanes.

An absolute favourite for residents of The Ladder. This is the best of a large number of Turkish restaurants on Green Lanes. Portions are big and cheap. Even has a rave review in the Evening Standard! Check out their TripAdvisor ratings.

Beans and Barley

A recently opened coffee shop on Green Lanes. They do an amazing granola fruit yoghurt in a jar!

Harringay Local Store

A farmers' market in a shop that even sells vinyl!

One of the best Turkish Restaurants in North London. Always busy, especially on weekends when you have to reserve seats to avoid standing outside. Amazing customer service, great food and a reasonable price for the standard. You should try the lamb and chicken grill.

Bun and Bar

I love the amazing cocktails at this burger joint!

Ducketts Common

Green space next to Turnpike Lane Station that has amazing basketball courts (the best in North London!), a free outdoor gym and a children's play area.

North London's best curry house and probably north London's best kept secret. It's a small restaurant and takeaway on Turnpike Lane that prepares freshly made curries!

A truly authentic Greek family restaurant that is very welcoming and with amazing, generous portions.

The Great Northern Railway Tavern

Weekly quiz nights, super beer garden and a stunning building.

Green Lanes

A great road full of so many different cuisines that goes on for miles. Great Turkish restaurants!

The Three Compasses

Modern trendy décor, but underneath it's a classic pub. Friendly atmosphere, super food, and darts and pool at the back.
