Where do Waddon locals go?

Khyber

One of, if not the best Indian restaurant in Croydon. It has a wide variety of dishes on the menu, including game curries. The food is delicious and portions are perfectly sized to keep you full - but not to the point of bursting.

Surrey Street Market

Engrained in Croydon's history and open 6 days a week, you can pick up produce from pretty much any part of the world and it is also very cheap! My mum who still lives in Croydon is a fan of 3 bunches of bananas for only £1!

Buffalo

I love buffalo because it has great service and serves up a tasty burger for an even better price. The evening and lunchtime menus have a wide variety of options to choose from.

Stuffins Unlimited

A sandwich deli right in the heart of Croydon. The menu is different every day and the prices are great for the amount you get.

Reflex

If you want a fun, inexpensive night out, Reflex is great. You can usually count on cheap drinks, the people are friendly and there is always a way to get home no matter where you live!

Pita Pit

A wide variety of delicious wraps at great prices!

The Whitgift Centre

There's a great choice of stores in The Whitgift Centre!

Little Bay

A cosy little restaurant in South Croydon with fantastic service and great food! Make sure you ring up in advance and request a booth when you book to experience the uniqueness of this restaurant.

Boxpark Croydon

Next door to East Croydon Station sits over 30 shipping containers with a variety of food and drink. Some of the biggest names such as Meat Liquor and The Breakfast Club have outlets.

Carshalton Ponds

A wealth of wildlife, waterfalls and lovely scenery in the heart of Carshalton.

The Greyhound

A pub and hotel with lots of outside space - fab in the summer!

The Hope

CAMRA Greater London Pub of the Year 2012 & 2013, which is run by a collective of locals. There's always a friendly welcome and the homemade, simple food goes down a treat as well!

Shirley Hills Viewpoint

This viewpoint in the Addington Hills provides breathtaking views of all of London. Make sure you visit on a clear day!

Doyley's A1 Barbers

I have been getting my hair cut here for over 15 years. It's a very nice family-run business and a fantastic place to discuss football and sports with the guys. It also tends to be a social hub too, which is great!

The Wrythe Recreation Ground

On this location is a large underground air-raid shelter from the Second World War. The entrance and vents are visible, but it is not possible to enter the bunker. It also backs onto Carshalton Athletic FC football ground.
