A message from the current owner

We absolutely loved living here for 8 years. The building is quiet, well cared for and Parkholme road is peaceful with a great sense of community and a couple of brilliant pubs within a 2 minute walk. Having moved to a house elsewhere in Hackney we still think it's the nicest residential street in The borough. It's location is superb being halfway between Broadway market and Dalston, both just a short distance away. The flat itself is a wonderful place to spend time and we often noticed how well soundproofed it was for a Victorian conversion. The living room is spacious and light and we loved the way the kitchen and master bedroom open on to the garden at the back of the house. The layout is pretty flexible too - we considered removing the wall between the living room and study turning the space into an open-planned living room/kitchen and then making the existing kitchen into a good sized extra bedroom.
