My home has been my peaceful haven for as long as I have had it. It's my 'country cottage' in the middle of Barnet with a Victorian/vintage feel and I love it. It's a great place to live. It has very good transport links into Central London with both Overground (New Barnet) and Underground (High Barnet and Cockfosters) nearby. It is close to High Barnet and Cockfosters for shopping, bars and restaurants but also with easy access to Whetstone and North Finchley. It is close to Hadley Common and Oakhill Park for lovely greenery and walks. There is a real community feel about Victoria Road, with great neighbours in my experience. I have been very happy here.
