One of my favourite things about the house is the afternoon and evening sun - the light and airy kitchen catches that all day long. The kitchen is such a practical room, we put a lot of thought into the storage (and the underfloor heating) so it's a great space for all the family which seldom gets cluttered. There are no houses overlooking the garden, so it's lovely and private too and a great inside/outside space with the big doors open. On cold evenings there are few things better than lighting a fire in the log burner and curling up with a book or a movie. And if you're working from home, the office by the master bedroom is just brilliant. We've met some lovely families on the street too. It's a great place to be.
