We love living on Sylvan Hill: The building is a beautiful, historic, converted mansion which is perfectly positioned half-way up the hill, so it is easily accessible to both the amazing Crystal Palace triangle up the hill, full of independent antique shops, coffee shops & food markets, and the gorgeous South Norwood Lakes down the hill, with it's boating, fishing and beautiful evening walks. As Crystal Palace was once part of the historic Great North Wood, we also have access to lots wooded space with Stambourne Woods about 3 minute walk away, plus Beulah Spa and Heights. Our building is full of friendly neighbours who we now count as friends. Our flat is particularly well situated so there is very little noise from elsewhere in the building, we feel this is especially rare in a ground floor flat. We feel lucky that we have been a part of this building's incredible history, with its gorgeous high ceilings, beautiful large bay window and spacious rooms.
