We absolutely love the community spirit and are hoping to stay in the area. The flat is located above a Tesco (we call it the pantry downstairs!). It is also very close to a leisure centre and a great pub called the Portland Arms. In the neighbourhood, there are many local shops including 3 art galleries, independent cinema (Screen25), craft beer and the Stanley Halls (an arts performance venue). If nature is more your thing, the flat is located 2 streets away from South Norwood Country park that has a wide range of wildlife and wetlands. The flat is also a short walk to Norwood Junction station which has the Overground and Thameslink. The fast train service gets you into London Bridge in 15 mins.
