A message from the current owner

When I first walked into the flat after picking up the keys, the floor creaked, the kitchen was dated, the wall colours weren't nice and the rooms were cold... I knew there was no way I could live with these flaws. Starting off initially with the flooring, I ended up gutting the entire flat. Walls were plastered, fireplace put in, modern energy-efficient radiators and kitchen installed - a lot of love went into this. The neighbourhood that this flat is in is an absolute gem. Everybody is so friendly, hosting dinner, looking out for each other (see the Facebook group), and then there's the three parks nearby, each with its own character. Every year the London Marathon runs at the end of the road and all the neighbours gather to cheer along together. There's a boxing class around the corner down by the church as well as get fit classes. Choice of supermarkets at the Royal Standard, Charlton and Woolwich Arsenal. If my situation was different I'd be staying!
