There is more to living in Oaklands Road than you think. It's a 10min. walk to Boston Manor Piccadilly tube, absolute bonus for getting into London or Heathrow Airport. Hanwell rail station 15min. walk. There are plenty of green spaces with Boston Manor Park and Brent River Park that leads down to a nature reserve, and also River Brent and Hanwell Locks, with The Fox pub, which is a 10min. walk away from the house. Great opportunity for sports with Boston Manor Tennis Club or Ealing Lawn Tennis Club a 15-minute drive away that has indoor and grass courts. Plenty of restaurants and food shops, such as Hanwell fishmonger's, Waitrose and Sainsbury's. I have loved the fact the kitchen is off the dining room - great for entertaining, which meant I could engage with my guest. The added bonus of my private car park at the back made this house very special. The reason I left was to move to the West Midlands to be with my family, otherwise I would still be living in Hanwell.
