A message from the current owner
The best of both worlds - a great house and a great location. Situated right in the heart of Forest Hill, our house is a lovingly restored Victorian cottage. Located on a quiet road with a great local community, it is still a short distance Forest Hill Station and the local amenities. We love the roof terrace garden, which is unbeatable in the summer months and brings lots of extra light into the house. Our improvements to the house include: double glazed windows, a Worcester Bosch boiler, cast-iron Victorian fireplace wooden shutters throughout, a newly painted exterior and a new bathroom suite.
Stanstead Road is set within moments of a wealth of amenities on offer in central Forest Hill while the green open spaces of Horniman Gardens are easily accessible.

With a bowling green, play area and cricket pitches, Mayow Park is a great place to chill out at the weekend.
The finest Italian restaurant I have ever been to, with a varied and fresh menu that caters for everyone from meat eaters to vegans and all in between without seeming to try! I book for anniversaries, birthdays, visits from friends - any excuse to attend the best restaurant I know of. It may not look particularly salubrious, but it is child-friendly by day and romantically candle-lit by night. I cannot recommend it highly enough!
Brown & Green Cafe
This charming cafe sells delicious cakes and fried breakfasts. It's a great spot to visit on a lazy Sunday afternoon or after a jog around Mayow Park!
