Named after their home region, the Galilee Quartet is made up of four Palestinian siblings whose music reflects both their cultural inheritance and formal classical training. Weaving Arabic melodic traditions with Western classical forms, the quartet bridges the gap between both worlds and highlights our commonality through a shared musical language. Audiences can expect a richly textured programme that flows between classical works, Arabic pieces, and original compositions that bring these influences together. Their journey has not been without challenge: between 2014 - 15 the ensemble was forcibly separated when violinist Omar was imprisoned for refusing compulsory service in the Israeli army, asking “How can I carry a gun rather than my viola?”. Reuniting after this period, the quartet has continued to develop an ambitious repertoire that has allowed them to play at the highest level across the world. Their Barbican debut marks a powerful moment, showcasing Palestinian talent and resistance. Presented by Earth Cruises & the Barbican 5+ event, under 14s must be accompanied by 16+

Long celebrated as the Bard of Stratford-upon-Avon,Shakespeare lived and worked for much of his career in London, within what is now the Fleet Street Quarter. Towards the end of his life he owned property in Blackfriars, and owned shares in the indoor playhouse there. JoinKings College London Shakespeare specialists Lucy Munro and Dr Hannah Crawforth as they share their discoveries about Shakespeares connections to this part of the city, and the ways in which London shaped his plays. Hailing from Los Angeles, the American DJ / producer brothers Bernie & Johan Yang soared to new heights through a year of extraordinary feats, proving themselves to be a powerhouse of fresh Hard Techno. In 2024 alone, they built a loyal fan base of more than 600,000 baddies through viral content across IG and Tiktok, and accumulated more than 2 million views on their Hard Techno DJ sets on YouTube, rivaling even the top Hard Techno acts. With their audacious remixes such as Bel Mercy and My Humps appearing regularly in DJ sets by Hard Techno heavyweights including the likes of Ben Nicky, Nico Moreno, even extending to top-tier Bass acts such as Subtronics, BEAUZ also proved that Hard Techno can enjoy streaming appeal when their self-release Ocho VIP and Lick It became their hottest tracks on Spotify, with the former being played by Charlotte de Witte on Tomorrowland mainstage. Considering all their successes in 2024, it almost feels as if BEAUZ is destined to build their legacy on the realm of Hard Techno. With nearly a decade of studio experience experimenting with the art of genre amalgamation, their Hard Techno productions feel natural, intuitive, readily comprehensible, and are suitable for more than traditional warehouse rave and club environments.
