Join us for a Halloween Special at The Phoenix, Cavendish Square - just a minute’s walk from Oxford Circus station and the perfect setting for a spooky night out. Don’t come alone - bring a friend and save with our £34 duo pass! For this one-night celebration, our glowing life drawing session is transformed with eerie UV-reactive body paint, haunting Halloween costumes, skeleton designs, gothic accessories, creepy props, and a spine-tingling playlist. Expect a fun, relaxed atmosphere where everyone’s welcome, whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced artist. All drawing materials are provided, and under the blacklights everything glows - from your artwork to the spectacular Halloween-themed model. We've held the HDIF Children's disco at the End Of The Road festival since 2011, and they've been lots and lots of fun. We play our usual mixture of indie pop and soul, and the discos are a wonderful opportunity for kids to bop around to The Smiths, Belle & Sebastian, Allo Darlin', The Ramones and more, and for their parents to bop along with them. It can often be hard to get out to club nights once you become a parent, so these discos are as much a chance for the parents to go out dancing as they are for the kids. We also want to provide an alternative to the many rave-themed kids discos that are on offer in London. If you'd rather dance to your favourite indie pop and Motown songs with your children, then we're the disco for you! Music will be played at a reasonable level. We'll make sure that the songs aren't played too loud, but if you're worried about volume please do bring along ear defenders for your kids. Everyone is welcome at our kids discos - children, parents and family friends - but we follow similar rules to Coram's Fields - so no admission for adults unless they are accompanied by a child. About The Phoenix: The venue is a wonderful basement bar with a wooden dancefloor. Entrance is via a short flight of stairs. It's three minutes walk from Oxford Circus tube station. Fresh off the fields of End of the Road Festival, HDIF Children's Disco provides a laid-back session for fans of indie and classic soul. After another sold out events in January & May this year already, Feeling Gloomy return with another afternoon of wall-to-wall Bowie. Join us for the original afternoon Bowie event and have a dance, grab some food, have a drink or just lounge back and enjoy the work of Mr David Jones. We start slow with the tracks you don't often hear then build to an all out last 1 hr and 45 mins (ish) of the hits where everyone is up and dancing! You can pop on the tube and still be home in time to enjoy your Sunday evening! With Bowie visuals and a few sing-alongs, it's a nice way to spend a Sunday and get ready for the working week.

Our Christmas Party! At long, long last, we can meet up once again in The Phoenix and dance to indie pop, northern soul, Motown, 60s girl groups and more. To ease our way back into the life we used to know, we'll be capping capacity for this to ensure that everyone has lots of space and feels comfortable. Tickets will be limited so please snap one up while you can. We will ask you to provide proof of a double vaccination (via the NHS app or by bringing your card or a print out), a negative lateral flow test (via the app or a print out, which you can get from here: https://www.gov.uk/report-covid19-result), or proof of having had Covid in the last 3 months (via the app). We're limiting the capacity for the first few nights to make sure everyone has lots of room. Some people will have been out in the last few weeks and will feel comfortable with being in a club again. For others - myself included - this will be the first month they've been out dancing. So please be respectful of everyone's personal space and remember that we'll all be at different stages of returning to the life we used to know. It's no longer a legal requirement to wear a mask. If you'd like to wear a mask, you're welcome to. If not, that's fine too. Staff will be wearing a mask for your safety. We'll have the air con units on and will take measures to increase natural ventilation. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us do everything we can to keep everyone safe.
