Crystal Palace is a South London hotspot that’s known for many wonderful things. It’s the place where Michael Cain said the famous line “You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off”, it’s home to the Crystal Palace Football Club and (most importantly) it boasts an array of fabulous restaurants and bars to fill your weekdays and weekends. DesignMyNight have put together a list of the best spots to visit, whether you’re wanting a tasty Italian or a cheeky drink on a roof terrace. Let’s make one thing crystal clear, you won’t be disappointed.

By DesignMyNight:

Cocktail Embassy

If you’re looking for your new favourite bar that serves up all things sweet, sour and classy, then you’ll love the award-winning Cocktail Embassy. This cosy little hub serves up over 200 cocktails (good luck if you’re aiming to try them all) that you can enjoy in their snug lounge bar. Plus, they have happy hour every day from 5pm to 8pm, so make sure you take full advantage. But that’s not all. Cocktail Embassy transforms into a banging club on Friday and Saturday nights for those who love bopping around to old school RnB tunes.

The Faber Fox

This place that radiates classic pub vibes, yet has a gorgeous roof terrace and boasts unmatched views of London. The Faber Fox is set to become your new firm favourite, especially if you love a good Saturday brunch or Sunday roast (or maybe both?). On the stunning terrace, you can sit back and relax with a G&T in hand. This is also a great place to visit to catch all the big football matches, listen to live music and participate in the weekly pub quiz - it’s definitely got something for everyone.

The Wood House

When moving to a new area, finding a new local pub is obviously at the top of everyone’s to do list. So let’s make this simple - if you’re moving to Palace it’s going to have to be The Wood House. It’s got so much rustic charm that you’re going to love wining and dining there on the regular. Of course you can order classic pub grub (you can’t go wrong with that) but they also have a burger shack in their heated garden that’s perfect for those warm summer evenings. So grab a beer from their extensive continental drinks menu and get ready to relax into your new local.
