Kingswood Area Guide

Freedom Pulseis a London-based brass ensemble formed in the summer of 2022. The group is made up of six professional musicians with academic training and experience playing in different orchestras and bands around the world. In the beginning we mainly performed at charity events in support of Ukraine, and since then the band has continued to grow. Our music mixes Ukrainian and British influences, and our repertoire includes elements of classical, jazz, pop and folk. We play our own brass arrangements of well-known songs and are also working on original material. Weve performed with Gavin Greenaway, played at festivals in Richmond, took part in the 2025 Kingston Festival, and regularly perform in Soho pubs, includingThe Spice of Life. Our usual line-up istwo trombones, two French horns, saxophone and drums. For this concert it will betwo trombones, one French horn, one trumpet, saxophone and drums. Some of the songs we plan to play include: 1.Funky Town 2.I Feel Good 3.Danza(Lucky Chops) 4.Bad Guy(Billie Eilish) 5.Jingle Bell Rock Th evening begins with a social of finger buffet (you may contribute your own plate to share) and soft drinks. The music starts at 7pm. No interval and the evening ends about 8.30. There is no parking at the Church.

Reception will take place from 3.20pm until 3.50pm Years 1 ,2 & 3 will take place from 4.15pm until 5.15pm Years 4, 5 & 6 will take place from 5.30pm until 6.30pm Tickets for each Disco need to be booked separately. No tickets will be issued. Please make sure you receive email confirmation of your booking. Wristbands will be given to children at the end of the school day and will need to be worn to gain entrance to the Disco.

Paul has completed two sell-out tours of the UK with Sean Lock on his Keep It Light tour in 2017, and more recently toured with Kevin Bridges on his record-breaking Brand New tour in 2018. He has performed two solo tours of his own, Suburban Legend in 2018, and Lemon in 2020/21.
