Kate Rebecca Leach is an artist and illustrator based in Hertfordshire. Her original artwork and high quality Gicle prints feature creative watercolour techniques and embellished metallic details. Kate founded her business, Essoldo Design, in August 2020 and has sold pieces to over 30 countries across the globe and has successfully licensed herwork in the UK, Europe and the USA. Her best-selling first book Creative Abstract Watercolor was published in Spring 2024 and her second Creative Abstract Mixed Media in October 2025. A bit more detail Learn to create beautiful botanical block abstracts inspired by nature Soak up the glorious colours of cherry blossom season and learn to create striking abstract botanical blocks shapes, one of Kates signature motifs. In this workshop you'll learn how to use organic watercolour shapes to form decorative abstract designs in a colour palette of your choice. You'll learn various watercolour techniques and decorative ideas to help you create your very own, unique piece that combines watercolour, inks details, and accents of metallics. Youll use your own inspiration and Kates portfolio of floral/abstract designs and patterns. All materials will be provided but please feel free to bring your own favourite materials or brushes if you wish. This class is suitable for total beginners through to experienced artists

The Hanging Bandits are a folk band who have been playing music, searching for buried treasure, and investigating paranormal activity for the past several years. Hertfordshire-based, the Bandits formed as an indie rock band but after realising that drum kits are difficult to bring on paranormal investigations, shifted to an acoustic folk setup. Since then, theyve released two albums and three EPs but have yet to recover any lost treasure or document any monsters. Undeterred by these failures, the Bandits continue to write music with a focus on socially-conscious lyricism and songs about friendship and the natural world. Their style reflects the housing estates of Londons satellite towns as well as the green and varied countryside of the UK. The Bandits bring an open and celebratory live show that balances melancholy with humour and open green space with the cramped greyness of modern life. Their focus on songwriting and jovial approach to performance has made them popular at festivals and events around the UK, including How the Light Gets In Festival, Killin Music Festival and Folk in a Field.
