With a rotating selection of guest ales and an excellent food menu, this is a great place to spend an afternoon, evening or both.


Quality Russian shop selling a wide array of products from authentic Russian meats, fish and cheese, to homemade cakes and pastries, which you can sit in and eat in their café. The ice-cream comes highly recommended.

The Phoenix Cinema

The oldest purpose-built cinema in London, the Phoenix screens the latest films, as well as sports events and ballet.


A large kosher supermarket and delicatessen with a huge variety of kosher products for the community.

Lyttelton Playing Fields

As well as plenty of space to walk the dog, there are six tennis courts that are all free to use on a turn up and play basis. In the summer, there is also a cricket pitch with a pavilion available for hire.


A very cosy and cute little café in Muswell Hill. They make very tasty salads and freshly baked homemade cakes that everyone will fall in love with. It's definitely a great place to go for brunch or just a nice cup of tea!

We use colourful puppets, magical bubbles and a wide variety of percussion instruments to bring the musical experience to life. We try to limit each 40 minute class to approximately 15 mothers and babies so the classes are large enough to create a lively atmosphere, whilst still keeping the intimacy.     East Finchley is a suburb in the London Borough of Barnet, in north London, and situated 5.4 miles (8.7 km) north-west of Charing Cross. Geographically it is somewhat separate from the rest of Finchley, with North Finchley and West Finchley to the north, and Finchley Central to the west. Housing in East Finchley is diverse in its nature, encompassing most housing styles, from 19th Century terraced housing and 1960s council estates to multi-million pound mansions on The Bishop's Avenue.
