With large windows opening directly onto Bushy Park, you can enjoy your fresh pizza while watching the deer roam by.

Casa Viva

Best Italian food I've had in the area by far. Coupled with great service and a wonderful selection of wine.

Not just for cyclists, this café at the end of Esher's High Street does fantastic coffee and gluten free snacks.

Good food, good beer, good times!

A large village gastropub. Great Sunday lunches.

  1. About Giggs Hill

Giggs Hill Green is a large triangular stretch of common ground in Thames Ditton, bordered on one side by the Portsmouth Road. The mystery of Giggs Hill Green is that there is no hill. The Green has had several different spellings over the centuries. In the 15th and 16th centuries, it was known as 'Le Gighill', 'Gyghyll', the 'lane called Gyghill' and 'Giggehill'. In Middle English, 'gigge' means a whirling thing, so perhaps a maypole was implied.
