The Inn on the Lake

This delightful country pub has an incredible outside seating area, which makes for a lovely setting in the summer.

Godalming Farmers' Market

The last Saturday of every month 10am - 4pm. Fantastic local produce and tasty treats.

A newly refurbished pub that has possibly one of the best Sunday roasts in the area...

We offer fun and creative children's cooking classes and workshops based in North London. We support cooking at schools, nurseries and children's centres. We also take bookings for cooking, chocolate and afternoon tea parties. Website

Thula Mama Harmony singing group for carers and babies

Thula Mama is an inspirational singing group for parents and carers of babies aged from birth to walking. We learn and sing lullabies and songs from around the world to share with our little ones. And we sing in beautiful 3-part harmony. You don't need to have any previous singing experience, just come along and enjoy sharing music with a group and with your baby. Website

NCT Bumps & Babies

Trinity Centre Trinity Churchyard
A group for expectant mums and parents with young babies (generally up to walking). Come along for a hot drink and chat with other local parents while the babies play on the playmats and toys provided. Plenty of space for buggies toilets baby changing and a quiet room. On the last Wednesday of each month we also have a special event running alongside the usual group - previous activities have included arts and crafts music sessions mini photo sessions and stalls. Held in the centre of town at the Trinity Centre next to Holy Trinity Church at the top of the high street. The nearest car park is Sydenham Road. Entry £1 for NCT members £2 non-members including refreshments. Website

Highgate Ballet School Ltd. was founded in 1995 in Highgate village by Julie Cronshaw FISTD and provides the highest quality ballet and pre-ballet classes in a positive and inspiring learning environment. The school offers recreational ballet classes to children ages 3 - adult,pre-vocational programmes from ages 9+ in Cecchetti Method and non-syllabus classes, GYROKINESIS ® body conditioning and contemporary dance. A lovely friendly group for non-walking babies we met every Monday morning even during the holidays Lots of mats blankets and toys for the babies to play on. Just £1 towards hall, refreshments provided. Website

The Nest: A NCT Parent and Baby Group in St. John's

St John's Memorial Hall
The Nest' is a parent and baby Group in St. John's where new parents can come and have a relaxing cup of tea / coffee and chats with other new parents about their life as new parents and the highs and lows that comes with it. Dorking NCT Branch Nearly New Sale APRIL 2015

North Holmwood Village Hall
We hold four Nearly New Sales each year where you can get some great bargains sell your children's old (but good condition) toys and clothes and help support the NCT too! We sell newborn and children's clothes maternity wear toys and equipment (such as prams and cots). Our sales are held at: North Holmwood Village Hall Spook Hill North Holmwood RH5 4JP NCT members get priority entry at 10:00am bring your NCT membership card with you to gain advance entrance. General entrance is at 10:15am. If you volunteer to help for more than 2 hours at the sale you get the opportunity to shop before the sale opens! Its a great perk and anyone can volunteer to help at the sales. Contact nns.dorking@nct.org.uk to register to sell or volunteer at our next sale!
